Origins

Having trained in 1990/1 at KLC School of Design in London, I took over the reigns of G&H Interiors in 1995 and worked from a large showroom in Honiton High Street. Following a move to smaller premises in 2000, the studio thrived with an on-site work room. In 2008, I moved the business  to a home studio where I continued to serve a loyal band of clients. More recently, with a house move post-pandemic, a change of name and a new studio built, work continues to pour in from clients, old and new.

Working with Clients

I don't work to a formula. I understand that interior design and decorating is a very personal matter, and every client is individual. I never seeks to impose my own preferences upon clients and, as a consequence, clients know that the results reflect their own tastes and style. I bring flair, almost 30 years of experience, approachability and honesty. I am a regular visitor to the major design fairs in the UK in order to keep up with design trends, and works regularly with leading manufacturers and suppliers; relationships that have been built over many years.

As much as you want

I am happy to accompany clients on visits to London (for an additional fee), particularly to Chelsea Harbour Design Centre or other trade showrooms where I have access to the most widespread  choice of fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and accessories.

Of course, not everyone wishes to go to London, and there is a comprehensive library of fabric, wallpapers, and other soft furnishings available at the studio; please call to make an appointment to view, or indeed for me to call out to your home, bringing a selection of samples.
